Working on iMMUNE 2: Rise of the Salmonella

Yesterday I was doing some research on some codes for our game and stumbled upon a new program called GameSalad that now features iPhone publishing. I took a look into it, downloaded it and started playing around with it. It reminded me of The Games Factory by clickteam, relatively no programming easy to use UI and drag and drop level design, sounded pretty good to me, i registered an account and started to make a preview of iMMUNE 2, it included all the iphone controls too. So I wanted to test the performance of it on the iphone, so i clicked publish, it told me i needed to register for the early program use, so I clicked "learn more" something you should be careful with lol... It took me to the page and i saw, to register for the early access it costs $499.99 USD. I thought maybe I'll work on the game, and when I finish i can register then publish it to the appstore from there. This is where it all goes down hill... I continue working on the game, i click to edit my character's attributes (movement, animations, ect...) and i got apple's less than famous pin-wheel (equivelent to Windows hour glass)... so the program froze, i waited, nothing... i went to the washroom, had some lunch, took a phone call and somewhere in the middle of it all it unfroze, excellent. I continued to work on my game and things were going... alright. Aside from the frequent freezings of GameSalad it seems to be a pretty solid app, follow some of the documentation and you could be on your way to making a game. For me? Until the creators of GameSalad (Gendai Games) work out the almost frequent freezing... I'll stick with XCode, even with the headaches of debugging countless lines of code... atleast XCode is stable, more difficult, but certainly stable. Those are my thoughts for now, so in the mean time, development for iMMUNE 2: ROTS (Not Revenge of the Sith...) has been minorly frozen.
